Real Good Stuff At The NY Tri Expo 2016
Kick off the triathlon season at the NY TRI EXPO ’16! at Citifield on March 19th from 10:00am to 6:00pm. Doesn’t matter if you’re a newbie to triathlon training, or an experienced triathlete – if you want to improve your performance for the 2016 season you don’t want to miss the NY TRI EXPO ’16, at Citifield. This is a great opportunity for you to connect with thousands of runners, cyclists, and swimmers, all with the same goal, and learn how to be the best you can be.
The concept to tie-in an educational component with a triathlon expo is the brainchild of Hilary Topper, herself an official triathlete, and CEO of HJMT Media Company, producer of the event. Joining Ms. Topper on her mission are a team of former professional triathletes, coaches, swimmers, cyclists, and runners, all eager to make NY TRI EXPO’16 one of New York City’s most important sporting expos. Starting off with more than 20 seminars and workshops, and nearly 70 exhibit booths we think they’re well on their way becoming a winner.
Let’s talk about the exhibit booths first – During the expo, two exhibit booths will host competitions. One will be a CompuTrainer competition. Cyclists will ride in teams through the Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon cycling course. The fastest team will win naming rights to a future course and a DVD course from CompuTrainer. There will also be a Zwift competition at another booth. Top brand companies will feature some of their hottest gear, while new product and services geared specifically for triathletes will be introduced. Other activities provided at booths include free massages; spin analysis, giveaways and more.
The educational component has been brilliantly planned. Experts will conduct important seminars and informative workshops, each designed to help build endurance and improve your performance on the swim, bike and run.
Matt Dixon, former professional triathlete, elite coach for Purplepatch Fitness and author of “The Well-Built Triathlete: Turning Potential into Performance” will keynote the event with his training program to help athletes work smarter and not longer. Before and after his talk, there will be three concurrent sessions given by industry experts, “Should I Become a Triathlete” and “The Half and Full Distance Triathlon Experience” to “5 Tips to a Faster Swim Leg” and “How to Run Faster off the Bike.”
Throughout the day, there will also be three learning tracks from “Should I be a triathlete?” and “How to breath under water” to “After Ironman what happens next?” to “Should I get a power meter?”
